Agreement
By using Squishmish, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the app.
Some venue information and photos in Squishmish come from Google Maps. By using Squishmish, you also agree that your use of Google Maps content is subject to the Google Maps/Google Earth Additional Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy.
What Squishmish Is
Squishmish is a social event discovery and planning app. You can browse local events, create hangout plans, invite friends, and chat with your crew.
Your Account
- You must be 17 or older to use Squishmish
- You're responsible for your account security
- One account per person
- You can delete your account at any time
Acceptable Use
You agree NOT to:
- Post spam, harassment, threats, or hate speech
- Impersonate others
- Use the app for illegal purposes
- Attempt to hack, reverse engineer, or interfere with the service
- Create fake events or misleading content
User Content
- You own the content you create (events, messages, photos)
- You grant Squishmish a license to display your content within the app
- We may remove content that violates these terms
- Other users can report content they find inappropriate
Moderation and Objectionable Content
We have zero tolerance for objectionable content and for abusive users. Harassment, threats, hate speech, sexual content involving minors, and content that targets or endangers another person are not allowed anywhere on Squishmish.
- You can report any event, chat message, or profile from inside the app, and you can block any user so their content and invitations stop reaching you
- We review every report and act on it within 24 hours, including removal of the offending content and ejection of the offending users where that is warranted
- Repeated or severe violations result in permanent account termination
Disclaimer
- Squishmish is provided "as is" without warranties
- We don't guarantee event accuracy: verify details with the event organizer
- We're not responsible for in-person interactions that result from using the app
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Squishmish is not liable for any damages arising from your use of the app.
Changes
We may update these terms. Continued use after changes means you accept the new terms.
